Book Launches at Pall Mall Stationers

Why Book Launches: We aim to inspire people to write so we are delighted to launch author's new books!

When: Any week night from 5.30-7.30pm. Author's Talk at 6.30pm

People leaving work, can come to join us for a drink before the Talk, typically everyone leaves at approximately 7.30pm.

How does it work: One or two authors can hold events together. We usually offer Drinks & Bites throughout. We hold the event largely in the Beautiful Royal Opera Arcade - London's oldest arcarde - John Nash, 1818. It is covered over and works year round. It can hold any number of people and is suitable for a small or a big crowd. A table is set up for the authors to creat a display on and there is a pedestal to stand on for the talk.

Service & Drinks: We are pleased to buy and serve drinks and take care of the glasses.

We suggest Bellini's (1/2 Sparkling Wine & 1/2 Peach Juice - from Hemingway's barman in Venice at Harry's Bar) £150 + VAT is the price including service for Bellini's with the alternative of Sparkling Mineral Water & Peach Juice as a non-alcoholic option. We estimate there will be approximately 30 people. If you envisage more guests then £2 + VAT for each additional guest.

If you would like white wine then the drinks cost is £175 + VAT and £2.40 per head for extra guests you envisage above 30.

Bites: Bites are nice. Roast Beef, Lettuce and Mustard and Tomato, Mozzerella & Pesto Bagels cut into quarters with toothpicks, beautifully laid out on platters and handed around in addition to crisps - £40 + VAT.

We are very excited to welcome Jill McGivering, to launch her book at our special shop and within the Royal Opera Arcade, which welcomes all creativity! There will be a brief talk about the new and exciting book.
